Advancing Precision Motion with Specialized Lifting Systems

Advancing Precision Motion with SDMC Specialized Lifting Systems

When heavy-duty lifting demands absolute precision, reliability, and clean execution, traditional hydraulic setups and cumbersome external power packs often fall short. At SDMC America Technology, we engineer advanced motion control solutions designed to replace inefficient conventional systems with compact, high-performance technology.

Below is an overview of two premier lifting solutions featured in our system lineup, detailing how they are engineered and the specific industrial applications they are best suited for.

1. Lifting System for Construction

Overview & Engineering
SDMC’s Lifting System for Construction is engineered to replace traditional, high-pressure hydraulic setups (which often exceed 3,000 psi with leaky, cumbersome hoses) as well as conventional cranes and lift chains.

The system utilizes four Electro-Hydraulic Actuators (EHAs)—each featuring a robust 6-foot stroke and 15 tons of force. Unlike traditional multi-cylinder setups that require extensive external plumbing, these units connect to a central control panel entirely via power cables. Perfect synchronization across all four cylinders is achieved through embedded smart linear encoders managed seamlessly by the SDMC control panel.

Best Suited For:

  • Building Construction: Assisting safely and precisely in the structural construction of new buildings.
  • Structural Relocation: Lifting and moving older structures with controlled stability.
  • Pipeline Infrastructure: Aligning and joining together large-diameter pipes seamlessly in the field.
  • Heavy Installation: Specialized tasks such as silo installation where synchronized, high-force vertical control is critical.

2. Micro Lifting System for Robotics

Overview & Engineering
For modern industrial automation and compact applications, SDMC developed the Micro Lifting System for Robotics. This highly integrated, symmetric EHA system is constructed from a customized symmetric hydraulic cylinder fabricated entirely from a solid aluminum block.

It pairs an internal high-capacity fluid piston pump with a 48VDC servo motor tailored directly to a facility's robotic power supply parameters. Furthermore, its motor mounting flange mirrors standard 120VAC or 220VAC servo motors, making replacements straightforward and maximizing operational uptime. SDMC can also custom-engineer ultra-compact micro units to match unique spatial and load constraints.

Best Suited For:

  • Robotics & AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles): Solving balance and heavy part-crate handling issues by providing multi-ton synchronous lifting capacity within compact robotic frames.
  • Logistics & Material Handling: Enhancing automated sorting, palletizing, and transport mechanisms.
  • Medical Equipment: Delivering smooth, reliable, and precise vertical actuation where tight tolerances matter.
  • Renewable Energy Systems: Powering automated adjustment and positioning mechanisms in green tech applications.
