SDMC was proud to attend WEFTEC 2024, the Water Environment Federation's Technical Exhibition and Conference held from October 6-8 in New Orleans. WEFTEC is the largest water quality event in North America, and this year provided SDMC a valuable opportunity to showcase its advanced Biosolids Silo Systems and Electro-Hydraulic Actuator (EHA) technology. Our solutions are designed to address the most critical needs in wastewater treatment, including energy efficiency, operational reliability, and sludge handling optimization.
SDMC Showcases Innovative Biosolids Handling Solutions
At the heart of SDMC’s presentation was our Biosolids EHA Silo and Sliding Frame Silo systems, tailored to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs in wastewater treatment plants. These advanced solutions leverage cutting-edge Electro-Hydraulic Actuator (EHA) technology to optimize sludge handling processes and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. As highlighted in the images from the event, we engaged in conversations with trade delegates and industry experts, sharing our knowledge and exploring new business opportunities.
One highlight of the trip was connecting with global trade representatives from Mexico and Colombia at the Global Center. This networking opportunity facilitated deep discussions about SDMC's biosolids management solutions, leading to follow-up meetings and a scheduled demonstration of our systems in Mexico City, as we continue to expand our presence in the Mexican market.
Strengthening Global Partnerships
In addition to exploring global opportunities, SDMC reconnected with industry peers and forged new relationships. At the exhibition, we had an unexpected encounter with a company promoting SDMC’s patented EHA Biosolids Silo System. While the promotional use of our image was unanticipated, the discussion led to a positive dialogue, and we’re optimistic about potential future collaborations to further promote our technology.
